Mumbai. These days the box office collection of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer film 83 is seeing a decline. The film has earned a total of Rs 182 crore at the worldwide box office. According to business and trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, the film has crossed the 180 crore mark, but the pace of earnings is seen to be slowing down a bit.
According to trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, 83 has now joined the club of 180 crores. Giving information on Twitter, he wrote, “#83TheFilm WW Box Office… Week 1 – 123.75 cr, Week 2 – 50.71 cr, Week 3 … Day 1 – 1.83 cr, Day 2 – 2.07 cr, Day 3 – 2.34 cr, Day 4 – 0.91 cr, Day 5 – 0.83 cr, Total – 182.44 cr.
Reliance Entertainment, one of the production houses backing 83, also shared the news that the film has collected around Rs 59.93 crore at the overseas box office. Let us tell you that this film was going to be released in the year 2020 itself, but due to COVID, the release of the film was postponed.
83 was termed as an underperformer film by business analysts after the huge success of multistarrer Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, which released on Diwali 2021, did not do as well in maintaining the Hindi film box office momentum. For information, let us tell you that this film was released in more than 3000 theaters on 24 December 2021. Apart from Hindi, the film was also released in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. This is the third week of the release of the film and coming in the third week, the film has crossed the hundred crore mark at the Indian box office. However, the pace of earnings is still going very slow.
