answer: At present, under the pilot project in India, e-rupee worth more than Rs 130 crore is in circulation. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave this information in the Parliament. RBI launched the pilot project of Digital Rupee on 1 November 2022 and 1 December 2022. Many major banks of the country are participating in the wholesale pilot project of Digital Rupee.
E-Rupee is in the form of a digital token and it is a legal tender. It is being issued in the same denomination in which paper currency and coins are issued at present. Users can transact e-Rupee through digital wallets offered by participating banks and store on mobile phones and other devices.

answer: The salaries and allowances of the members of the Delhi Legislative Assembly have been increased by more than 66 percent. Now the salary allowance of Delhi MLAs has been increased from Rs 54,000 to Rs 90,000. The salaries and allowances of Ministers, Assembly Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Chief Whip and Leader of the Opposition have been increased from the existing Rs 72 thousand to Rs 1.70 lakh per month. This is the first increase in the salary of MLAs in the last 11 years.

It is expected that in the year 2023, the increase in the wealth of the ultra-rich will continue. 47 per cent expect wealth to increase by more than 10 per cent, while 53 per cent expect wealth to increase by at least 10 per cent compared to last year.

The state cabinet has decided to reintroduce the bill, which intends to ban online gambling in Tamil Nadu. According to Article 200, if a bill is passed by the House for the second time, with or without any amendments, and is presented to the Governor for his assent, the Governor cannot withhold it.
