West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the dates for the secondary examination i.e. 10th class examination to be held in 2023. According to WBBSE, the secondary examination will be conducted from February 23, which will continue till March 4. In this way, the 10th class board exams will be over within 10 days. Next year the secondary examination will be conducted in single shift. The exam will start at 11.45 am, which will end at 3 pm. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper.
The secondary examination will begin with the first language, followed by the second language examination on February 24. If we talk about the rest of the exams, then Geography exam will be conducted on 25 February, History exam on 27 February and Life Science exam on 28 February. At the same time, the exam of Maths will be held on March 2, Physical Science on March 3 and the exam of Optional Elective Subjects on March 4. Other exam dates have also been announced by WBBSE. According to WBBSE, the shorthand and typewriting exam will be conducted only in Kolkata and Siliguri. Four hours 15 minutes will be given to the candidate for the embroidery-weaving exam. At the same time, the Music Vocal and Music Instrumental Exam is going to be of two hours and 15 minutes. Apart from this, the computer application exam will be of two hours 45 minutes, while for the vocational paper exam, students will be given one hour 45 minutes.
Class 10 exams for the academic year 2021-22 were conducted from March 7 to 16. At the same time, the result was announced on June 3. Students checked their result through result roll number or roll code. In the 2021-22 session, more than 11 lakh students gave the 10th class exam.
