Tamil Nadu Budget 2023: The Government of Tamil Nadu has focused the most on school education and higher education in its budget this year. Presenting the Tamil Nadu Budget 2023, State Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan said that the Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme will be expanded on a pilot basis. Along with this, the state government has announced for the girl students from class 06 to 12. Scholarship Scheme has announced.
In the upcoming academic session in Tamil Nadu, all 30,122 government schools in the state will be linked to the CM Breakfast Scheme. Earlier this scheme was launched only in 1,543 schools of the state. Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan told that Rs 500 crore will be invested in this scheme in the new budget.
Announcement of scholarship for girl students
In the budget presented by the Tamil Nadu government, important announcements have been made regarding higher studies. Scholarship has been announced for higher studies for girl students from class 6th to 12th. Under this scholarship scheme, 1000 rupees will be given to girl students every month. In such a situation, every year the girl students will get 12000 rupees.

It was told in the budget speech that under the Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Pudhumai Pen scheme, attention has also been given to the significant increase in the registration of girl students in colleges. Thiagarajan said that compared to the year 2021-22, 29 percent more girls have entered colleges this year, which amounts to 20,477 girl students.
Breakfast will be available in all schools
The scheme, launched by the Government of Karnataka, was launched on the basis of reports that some children studying in government schools were suffering from stunted growth and malnutrition. These children will be empowered by focusing on their studies.

Many children come to school hungry without having breakfast. The budget speech said that the government is expanding the program so that no child goes hungry and learning is made joyful and education universal.
