Amrita university scholarship: On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2023, girl students have received a big gift. Scholarship will be available on taking admission in BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA courses.

Scholarship Scheme: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham International Women’s Day A special announcement has been made for the girl students on the occasion of The institute has offered 20 percent scholarship on their first semester fees to all girl students taking admission in any online course at Amrita Ahead. As per the official notice, 20 percent scholarship for women candidates will be given on the first semester fees of the candidates.
This Scholarship Scheme is for those girl students who are enrolling for online programs. The last date to apply for this scholarship is March 31, 2023. This scholarship is limited to those students who are applying for admission in the university.
Scholarship in these courses
This scholarship will be given to girl students taking admission in BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, Master of Computer Application (Specialization: Artificial Intelligence), Master of Computer Application (Specialization: Cyber Security) courses. Also available for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Taxation and Finance, Master of Commerce (M.Com).

The online degree programs offered under the AHEAD initiative of Amrita University are offered in collaboration with various industry leaders, national and international faculty. To take advantage of this scholarship, one has to take admission by visiting the official website amrita.edu.
Events on International Women’s Day
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2023, UGC has directed all higher educational institutions to organize programs and events for International Women’s Day. The UGC had asked colleges and universities to conduct the program in the week starting March 1. The Commission said that this initiative of colleges and universities will be a step forward in the direction of gender equality.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Women and Child Development will confer ‘Nari Shakti Puraskar’ to individuals on the occasion of International Women’s Day today i.e. March 8. Directorate of Education Delhi organized a Cyclothon at Thyagraj Stadium in Delhi today to mark International Women’s Day 2023.
