The Bihar government is going to implement the rules of no-bag day in schools to reduce the burden of students’ bags. The state government is in the process of starting the compulsory sports period at least once a week. This information has been given by an official. Bihar Education Department’s Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh told the media that an official notification in this regard will be issued soon. They said that Bihar schools There will be work-based practical classes in the weekly No-Bag Day.
The Bihar Education Department official said that at least once a week, students will come to school with only their tiffin boxes. They will not need to carry books on that day. This whole day will be devoted to learning practical things. The objective of such a policy is to involve the students in various activities, which can have a positive impact on their learning.
Students will be ready for sports
Deepak Kumar Singh told the media that the school authorities should prepare a curriculum for such activities. This step will definitely bring about a positive change in the students, which will also improve their learning ability. Initiatives under NEP 2020
Deepak Kumar Singh said that this initiative is in line with the National Education Policy 2020 and will be implemented in both government and private schools. State’s Art, Culture and Youth Minister Jitendra Kumar Rai said on starting the sports period at least once a week, that our department is preparing a proposal in this regard. I will meet the education minister of the state and submit a detailed proposal to him.
