Navy Passing Out Parade 2023: About 273 women and about 2600 men have been included as Agniveers of the Navy. His training was started at INS Chilka in November 2022 last year.

Indian Navy Agniveer Bharti: The passing out parade of the first batch of Agniveers will be held at INS Chilka on 28 Mar 23. About 2600 firefighters including 273 women firefighters undergoing training at INS Chilka Indian Navy Successfully completed Agneepath. During the passing out parade of these firemen, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar will attend as the chief guest, and will review the passing out parade.
VADM MA Hampiholi, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command and other senior naval officers will also be present on the occasion. Those who have succeeded in the very difficult examination of Agniveer Navy i.e. Navy’s Agneepath, they will be deployed on frontline warships for sea training.
This journey has not been easy for Indian Navy firemen
On June 14, 2022, the Defense Minister and the three army chiefs launched the Agneepath scheme. Pan-India merit-based Agneepath recruitment scheme was initiated by the Government of India. Indian Navy has selected and trained Agniveers for Navy according to the preparation of a contemporary, dynamic, young and technologically equipped future, now they will be further deployed according to merit.

Navy’s Agniveer will become a sea warrior
These Agniveers have been given special training to join the Navy. The Agniveers underwent 16 weeks of initial training at INS Chilka, the premier sailors’ training establishment of the Indian Navy. The basic naval principles of duty, honor and courage were taught at INS Chilka. Academic, service and outdoor training were taught based on these values of the Navy.
In this first batch of Agniveers, those female and male Agniveers are also included, who became part of the RD parade contingent of the Indian Navy on the path of duty on 26 January this year.
The passing out parade will be an important occasion for the Agniveers. Because after this he will be officially working in Navy. This moment is a proud moment for their families. This is the first passing out batch of Agniveers from any training institute in the country after successful completion of initial training.
