You have to go to the link of ‘Statistical Officer-2021 Planning Department (Economics and Statistics)’. Now the Syllabus in PDF format will appear on the screen. Download it and take a print out.
There will be negative marking
The qualifying marks for Assistant Statistical Officer Exam 2021 is 40 percent. There will be 100 questions of multiple choice (objective type) as per syllabus. All questions will be of equal marks. As per the notice there will be negative marking and 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will be two parts in the Assistant Statistical Officer Exam 2021. Part A will be based on General Knowledge and will be of 30 marks for 30 questions, whereas Part B will be based on Economics, Statistics and Mathematics subjects and will have 70 questions for 70 marks. According to the commission, the standard of the paper will be that of the master’s degree level exam.
