    NEET UG 2023: Increased fees, asked for address proof, know what changed in the registration form

    NEET UG Exam 2023: According to the notification issued by NTA, NEET 2023 exam will be held in May. There is time till 06 April 2023 to apply in this.

    NEET UG Registration 2023: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test to be conducted for admission in the top medical colleges of the country. NEET Exam The registration process for has started. In such a situation, students who want to enroll in courses like MBBS, BDS and Ayush this year can apply online by visiting NTA NEET website- neet.nta.nic.in. The application process will run till 06 April 2023.

    According to the notification issued by the National Testing Agency, many changes have been made in the registration form of NEET exam this year. Students are advised to go through the new format before applying.

    What changed in NEET 2023 Registration Form?

    Last year, Rs 1600 was taken from the general category as the registration fee for the NEET UG exam by the National Testing Agency. Whereas, the fee for EWS and OBC candidates was fixed at Rs 1500. While Rs 900 was asked from SC, ST and Divyang category candidates.

    For applying in NEET UG this year, general category will have to pay Rs 1700, EWS and OBC will have to pay Rs 1600. At the same time, SC, ST and Divyang students will have to deposit Rs 1000. At the same time, NRI students will have to deposit a fee of Rs 9500. The registration fee can be paid online.

    Have to give address proof

    According to the notification issued by NTA, this year students will also have to submit address proofs. For this, identity cards like Aadhaar card, domicile certificate, passport or voter ID card will have to be uploaded during the registration itself. Document has to be uploaded in PDF File.

    Through NEET UG Exam, one can take admission in MBBS, BDS BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS and other courses in top medical colleges. NEET question paper will have 200 questions and it will be 3 hours 20 minutes exam. According to the notification issued by NTA, NEET 2023 exam will be held in May. Whereas, the timing of the exam is from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. See official notification for more details.
