Washington: Coronavirus cases have increased to 47.86 crores worldwide. So far more than 61.1 lakh people have died due to this epidemic, while more than 10.86 billion have been vaccinated. These figures were shared by Johns Hopkins University. The University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) said in a new update on Saturday morning that the total number of current global cases, deaths and vaccinations have increased to 478,619,889, 6,113,687 and 10,860,311,810, respectively.
According to the CSSE, the US remains the most affected country with the world’s highest number of cases and deaths at 79,936,775 and 976,499.
India is the second most affected country with 43,016,372 cases of corona.
According to CSSE data, the other most affected countries with more than 10 million cases are Brazil (29,809,769), France (24,967,222), UK (20,848,912), Germany (19,406,901), Russia (17,458,275), Turkey (14,775,634), Italy (14,229,495), South Korea (11,497,711) and Spain (11,451,676) are.
Countries that have crossed the 100,000-plus death toll include Brazil (658,855), India (516,755), Russia (359,307), Mexico (322,432), Peru (212,022), UK (165,046), Italy (158,582), Indonesia (154,343), France (142,597), Iran (139,865), Colombia (139,544), Argentina (127,846), Germany (127,498), Poland (114,736), Ukraine (112,459) and Spain (102,392) are included.
