Now China has announced that it is lifting the visa restrictions imposed on foreign nationals. China According to the Ministry of External Affairs, once again the issuance of visas will be started in the country to give entry to international tourists, students and others. In this way, the maximum benefit will be given to those students who were studying in Chinese universities.
Indian students are going to get a big benefit from this step taken by the Chinese government. Especially those students are going to be benefited from this decision, who returned to the country due to the COVID lockdown in China. Because of this, his studies got stuck in the middle. China also did not allow students to come here for a long time to complete their studies. At the same time, according to immigration officials, the policies related to visa application will come into effect from March 15, 2023.

Visa will start issuing from March 15
According to an AFP report, apart from issuing new visas, China’s Foreign Ministry has said that visas issued before March 28, 2020 can also be entered into the country. According to the official statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, all categories of visas will be issued from March 15, 2023. It further states that this decision has been taken so that cross-border travel can be facilitated.
The updated policy for issuing visas to China will also work towards reintroducing visa-free travel for those arriving in Shanghai via cruise ships and certain tourist groups from Hong Kong, Macau and the ASEAN regional group countries. However, China has not told whether people will need a vaccination certificate or a negative report of the COVID test during entry into the country.

In fact, due to COVID, a strict lockdown was implemented in China and all foreign nationals were asked to leave the country.
