DU Admission 2023: This time Delhi University will launch a new portal for admission in B.Tech course. Students will have to register on this portal for admission. DU can start the portal by next week. However, the process of registration for admission to undergraduate courses through CUET score is going on in DU.
DU’s Dean of Admission Haneet Gandhi said during the admission webinar that the portal will soon be launched for admission to B.Tech programmes. Delhi University has started three B.Tech programs from this academic year under the Faculty of Technology, in which admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main).

Apart from JEE score, for admission, students will have to score at least 60 percent or more marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th. A total of 360 seats are available in the B.Tech program i.e. 120 seats per course.
The courses include B.Tech in Computer and Engineering, B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Gandhi clarified that the CSAS portal will be separate for admission to the BETE course. It will have a separate registration portal, which is likely to be launched next week.
These students will get exemption in fees
The university will also provide financial assistance to the economically weak students. Students whose parents’ income is Rs 4 lakh or less. They will get 90 percent fee waiver at the time of admission and whose family income is between Rs.4 lakh to Rs.8 lakh. Those students will be given 50 percent exemption in fees.
