Bihar Police Sub-Ordinance Service Commission has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Bihar Police SI and Excise Sub Inspector. The online application process for this vacancy has started. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of Bihar Police Under Service Commission bpssc.bih.nic.in.
Candidates can apply from 4th November to 4th December 2023. Through this recruitment process, recruitment will be done on 64 posts of Sub-Inspector in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department of the State Government and Police Sub-Inspector in the Surveillance Department.

Qualification and age limit
Applying candidates must be graduates from any stream. The age should be between 20 years to 37 years. At the same time, female candidates have also been given a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit. In the upper age limit, OBC category candidates have been given 3 years relaxation and SC and ST category candidates have been given 5 years relaxation.
Application fee – The application fee for OBC and general category natives of Bihar has been fixed at Rs 700. Whereas SC and ST category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 400.
Selection Process – Shortlisted applicants for these posts will be selected in three phases. The first stage will be written examination, second stage will be main examination and then physical test. Only the candidates successful in all these processes will be finalized.
