Ambedkar University Admission 2023: Ambedkar University, Delhi has started the admission process for admission to UG, PG and PhD programmes. For admission, students can register through the official website of the university, aud.ac.in. A total of 18 courses of UG, 27 of PG and 125 of PhD courses are conducted in Ambedkar University.
For admission to graduate courses, students can register between June 16 and July 16. Candidates can submit their online applications using their CUET Number and Date of Birth. The university will take admission for 1,123 seats in undergraduate and 1,399 seats in postgraduate courses. The University has so far received a total of 4,72,357 applications for undergraduate programmes.
Vice Chancellor ANU Singh Lather said that the university is accepting CUET score for admission. Apart from this, the University reserves 85 percent seats for the students of University Delhi. ADU has been ranked 4th in the list of NTA top 10 universities.
The VC announced the introduction of competency enhancement courses and said that this system has been started in 143 courses where any working professional can take admission according to his/her interest. The objective of the scheme is to provide an opportunity to individuals from diverse backgrounds to expand their knowledge and skills by enrolling in one or two courses per semester.
The Vice-Chancellor said that the students whose family income is less than Rs 3 lakh, their entire fee will be waived off. At the same time, 75% fee will be waived for students with income between 3 to 4 lakhs. 50% for income between 4 to 5 lakhs and 25% fee waiver for those with monthly income between 5 lakh to 6 lakhs. He said that 39 per cent of the university’s budget is spent on the student aid system.
