Assam HSLC Science Exam 2023 Cancelled: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has canceled the 10th General Science paper exam scheduled to be held on Monday, March 13, following reports of paper leak. State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has given information in this regard by tweeting.
Giving information about this, Education Minister Ranoj Pegu tweeted on Sunday night that the General Science exam of HSLC exam to be held on 13/03/2023 has been canceled by SEBA in view of media reports of question paper leak. New date for the exam will be announced soon.

While SEBA did not explicitly admit that the paper was leaked, according to media reports, it issued a notification citing a news broadcast, which claimed that the hand-written paper of General Science (C3) The model paper is available with some students and is being circulated on social media.
At the same time, according to the board, such news can create confusion in the minds of the examinees and keeping this in mind, the examination of General Science (C3) subject to be held on 13 March 2023 (Monday) is cancelled.
Later, Assam Director General of Police GP Singh tweeted that a criminal case has been registered and CID Assam will investigate the matter.
There was also news of 12th paper being leaked.
The matriculation and higher secondary examinations in Assam were mired in controversies this year. There was news of Class 12 chemistry paper being leaked but the board (AHSEC) and the education minister denied it. At the same time, videos of students cheating in class 10th English paper surfaced on the internet.
