Congress has promised to provide 200 units of free electricity to families in Karnataka. Along with this, it has also promised to give Rs 2,000 per month to women running a family, Rs 3,000 per month to unemployed graduates and Rs 1,500 per month to unemployed diploma holders.
These are the election promises of the Congress in Karnataka on which a considerable budget of the state government will be spent. Many economists estimate that about Rs 62,000 crore will be spent on the schemes of Congress for free electricity, youth fund and giving cash money to women.
