Akasa Air’s 20th aircraft is being delivered within a year of the start of its operation. It is claimed that this has never happened in the aviation sector of the whole world in 120 years when an airline has reached a fleet of 20 aircraft from zero in the very first year of its operation.
He will get the 20th aircraft of Akasa Air in July. The company has placed orders for 4 additional Boeing 737-8 jet planes at the Paris Air Show. The company aims to take its aircraft fleet to 72 planes by March 2027. By the end of this year, it is expected that the company can order more than 100 of its planes for the coming time.

Increasing market share of Akasa Air
The market share of Akasa Air is also increasing continuously. When it was launched in August last year, its market share was 0.2 percent. Now in May this year it has increased to 4.8 percent. However, some contribution in this is also due to the closure of Go First flights. In August, only 24,000 passengers flew with the airlines, now their number has increased to 6.29 lakh in May this year.
Akasa Air was started by veteran stock market investor Bigbull Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. He died shortly after its launch.
