Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch its Jimny. Before the launch of this car, the company has revealed the fuel economy figures of the Jimny 5-door SUV. Here we will tell you the details of ARAI-certified mileage of Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
According to reports, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door SUV has been claimed to deliver 16.94 kmpl for the petrol manual variant and 16.39 kmpl for the petrol automatic variant. Do note that these are ARAI-certified figures and real world fuel economy may vary depending on driving patterns and road conditions.
Maruti Jimny: Powertrain options
Powering the new Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 103 bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. For better off-road experience, it will get standard superior AllGrip Pro 4X4 system.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Price and Rivals
At present, the price of Jimny has not been disclosed, it will come out next month in June 2023. The upcoming car will be offered in two trim levels, Zeta and Alpha, and is likely to be priced between Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom. After entering the Jimny 5-door SUV market, Mahindra will compete with Thar and Force Gurkha.
First unit of off-road SUV rolls out of plant
Recently, the company has flagged off the first unit of the latest off-road SUV from its Gurugram plant in Haryana. In this, the top-range white color variant of the Jimny has been extracted from the plant. People have been waiting for Maruti Jimny for a long time.
