In a recent board meeting of the company, Mahindra’s Executive Director and CEO (Auto and Farm Sector) Rajesh Jejurikar not only informed about the five-door Mahindra Thar that this car will be launched for customers in the next year 2024. Along with this, information has also come to light that the company will not launch a single new car this year, the reason behind doing so is that the company is focusing on delivering the pending orders.

Mahindra Thar 5 DOOR engine and gearbox details
In this upcoming car of Mahindra, the same engine as the company’s existing 3 door Thar will be given, in this car a 2.0 liter mStallion turbocharged petrol motor has been given. Apart from this, 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine is available. 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission options have been given with 4X4 capability.

Talking about safety, this upcoming car from Mahindra can get many amazing features like hill hold assist, 6 airbags, brake assist, rear parking camera, apart from ABS support with EBD.
