Tata Motors has started taking official bookings for its upcoming Safari facelift model. If you want to book this car for yourself, then you can book it by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. The company can launch this car in the coming few days. This car will compete with Mahindra Scorpio-N in the market. Know here which of these two cars can outweigh whom.
Tata Safari Facelift vs New Mahindra Scorpio-N
In Tata Safari facelift, you get LED headlights with DRLs, connected LED tail lamps, 19 inch alloy wheels and height adjustable front seats i.e. you can adjust them according to your height.
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N has a boxy look, which has vertical slats, new designed grille, bumper-mounted DRLs and LED lights. Visually, the look of Mahindra Scorpio-N is more muscular.
Tata Safari, new Mahindra Scorpio-N: Engine
In the new Mahindra Scorpio-N, you are getting a 2.0-litre m-Stallion petrol engine that meets BS6 standards, it can generate 200hp power and 320Nm torque. In this car you also get the option of 2.2-litre m-Hawk diesel engine.
There is a possibility that the Tata facelift Safari may be offered with the existing 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. It can generate power of 168bhp and peak torque of 350Nm. Talking about transmission, manual and automatic gearbox options are given in both the cars.
Tata Safari, new Mahindra Scorpio-N: Features
Both Safari facelift and Scorpio-N have a 7-seater cabin. In both the cars you get dual-tone dashboard, vertical AC vent, premium leather upholstery, automatic climate control and multifunctional steering wheel. According to reports, Tata company can also provide Advanced Driving Assistance System i.e. ADAS in its upcoming Safari. However, you do not get this feature in Mahindra Scorpio-N.
Talking about the price of base Z2 petrol MT variant of Mahindra Scorpio-N, its starting price is Rs 11.99 lakh. The price of Z8L diesel AT trim goes up to Rs 19.49 lakh. The starting price of Tata Safari facelift can be Rs 16 to 18 lakh.
