Let us tell you that the company has changed the design of the front fork, and named it “Upgraded Fork”. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer says that the new design will make the scooter more robust and durable.
This upgrade is completely free for the owner of Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters. For this, the appointment window will be opened from March 22, and the company will tell the detailed process of booking the appointment soon. In this regard, the company has issued a press release.

Ola’s statement
In a press release posted on social media, Ola said, “Recently, there have been some concerns among the community regarding the safety of the front fork arm. We assure you that this is baseless. At Ola, all components of our scooters including the front fork arm are tested under extensive conditions and engineered with a much higher safety factor than the normal load weight on the vehicle.”

Front fork prone to break
It has been seen many times when the front fork of the electric scooter broke while passing through the potholes. Many scooter owners have also suffered injuries due to this. Now the EV manufacturer has increased the part where the suspension connects to the wheel. Let us tell you that the single-sided front fork design is used in Ola S1 and S1 Pro, which is supplied by Gabriel.

The old-fashioned telescopic fork is used at the front of Ola’s cheap electric scooter Ola S1 Air. The company said that it will open 500 experience centers across the country by March 2023. The customers will have to book an online appointment, after which a technician will come. The company currently processes booking and payment online only.
If you also want to replace the front fork, then you will have to take an appointment. The company said that before visiting, customers will be able to book an appointment at the nearest Ola Experience Center or Service Center.
