MG Comet EV will be the smallest passenger car in India. According to reports, its length will be 2.9 meters. This means that it will be even smaller than the Tata Nano.

MG Comet Electric Car will be designed on the company’s new GSEV (Global Small Electric Vehicles) platform. The upcoming EV looks quite similar to the Wuling Air EV, which is already on sale in Indonesia. The charging port has been given in the middle of its front fascia.
Design of MG Comet EV
According to the pictures surfaced, the front of this electric car will get turn indicators, dual, vertically stacked headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and dual-tone front bumper. At the same time, LED light bar with chrome strip will be given under its windscreen. Dual-tone color theme will be available in all models of this mini electric car. It will be given 12-inch steel wheels. The rear of the car will get vertically stacked tail-lamps, high-mounted stop lamps, flat rear bumper.
Features of MG Comet EV
Talking about the interior of the car, it will get a large rear quarter glass, which will give a ventilated feel inside the cabin. The EV will get a layered dashboard, which will be in a dual-tone shade. In terms of features, the car will come equipped with rotary knobs for AV controls, sleek air-con vents, multi-functional two-spoke steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment unit and digital instrument console.
According to reports, a 10.25-inch dual display can be found in this Mini Electric Car. One of these will be for infotainment and the other for instrumentation. Apart from this, the EV also gets features like automatic AC, connected car technology, keyless entry and steering mounted controls.
MG Comet EV range
According to reports, the new MG EV will get battery pack options like the Wuling Air electric car. A 17.3kWh battery pack can be found in its entry-level variant, which is expected to have a range of around 200 km. At the same time, its top variant will have a 26.7kWh battery pack, which can give a range of about 300 kilometers on single charging.
MG Comet EV Price
The price of MG Comet EV in the Indian market is expected to be around Rs.10 lakh. This price will be according to the ex-showroom. Once launched, it will compete with electric cars like the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3.
