2023 MG Astor Facelift: MG Motor is preparing to launch the facelift version of the famous compact SUV Aster. The British car company will soon launch it in the Indian market. Recently the company new ester The teaser has also been released. In 2011, MG’s SUV was launched for the first time in India. It is the first SUV in India to be launched with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature. The upcoming Aster SUV will compete with SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The teaser image of the 2023 MG Aster facelift shows the mild look of the upcoming SUV. According to the auto company, the upcoming facelift SUV will be the most advanced SUV in its class. However, it looks similar to the model currently on sale. It is believed that better features will be seen in the new SUV.

MG Astor Facelift: Most advanced SUV
The 2023 model of MG Aster can be equipped with the best tech features. It could get a bigger touchscreen infotainment system and new software graphics. According to MG Motor, a unique combination of technology and luxury will be seen in Aster. This car will become the most advanced SUV in its segment. The company has also introduced the SUV in Havana Gray colour.
MG Astor Facelift: Expected Features
A 14-inch infotainment system can be given in the MG Aster facelift. A similar system has been given in the Hector facelift. The Aster currently gets a 10.1-inch infotainment system. Apart from this, the instrument cluster is also likely to be updated with new software and graphics. In this, some unique features can be taken from the facelift version of Hector SUV.
MG Astor Facelift: Expected Specifications
However, there is hardly any change in the engine. MG Motor may retain the existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.3L turbo-petrol engines. The 1.5-litre engine is expected to come mated to a 5-speed manual while the turbo engine will come with a 6-speed torque converter. Currently, the ex-showroom price of the base variant of Aster is Rs. 10.81 lakhs. Whereas, the ex-showroom price of its top-spec variants is Rs. 17 lakhs.
