Maruti Grand Vitara Vs Toyota Hyryder
The country’s largest automobile company Maruti Suzuki has recently introduced the Maruti Grand Vitara. At the same time, Toyota had also introduced the Urban Cruiser Highrider recently and is now in production preparation. After the Hyrider, Maruti will also launch the Grand Vitara in the market. Both the new mid-size SUVs have been jointly prepared by Maruti and Toyota. That’s why the Grand Vitara and the Hyrider share similar features. Engines of Vitara and Hyrider
Exactly the same engines have been given in Grand Vitara and Hyrider. But there is a slight difference in the power output of the mild hybrid engine of both the SUVs. The mild hybrid engine of the Grand Vitara generates a peak of 103.06 PS and a torque output of 136.8 Nm.
In the case of Toyota Highrider, the company claims that the mild hybrid engine generates 101 PS of peak and 135 Nm of torque output. The gearbox options of both the SUVs are similar.
Variants of both the SUVs
Toyota has introduced the Urban Cruiser Highrider in a mild hybrid engine with four trim versions – E, S, G, and V. At the same time, S, G, and V options are available in the strong hybrid engine.
The mild hybrid engine of the Grand Vitara is available in four variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. At the same time, Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus variants will be available in the strong hybrid variant of Vitara.

The design of the Maruti Grand Vitara and the Toyota Highrider is completely different. Both the SUVs get their identity from the different design. The front grille and headlights of the SUV are different. On the other hand, the DRL Urban Cruiser of the Grand Vitara looks bold compared to the aggressive and sharp design of the rider.

The interiors of the Grand Vitara and the Highrider don’t see much major changes. But there are definitely different color shades available in the cabin of the car. The Dark Brown color shade has been used in the Grand Vitara, while the Light Brown shade has been given in the Urban Cruiser Highrider.
SUV warranty coverage
In Toyota Hider, the customer will get a warranty of 3 years / 1,00,000 kms. Customers can extend the warranty up to 5 years/2,20,000 kms if they wish. On the other hand, the strong hybrid engine will get a warranty of 8 years / 1,60,000 km. Maruti Suzuki has not yet disclosed the warranty coverage of the Grand Vitara.
